The Monroe-West Monroe BPW Career Advancement Scholarship founded in 1989, exists to help deserving female students at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. To be eligible the student must be 25 years of age or older, and either going to college for the first time or returning to school to complete a degree, start an advanced degree, or obtain a professional certification. For more details on the scholarship and how to apply, click here. Proceeds from our chapter fundraising events are designated for this scholarship fund. We also accept donations toward the fund, which are tax-deductible. The scholarship fund is managed by the ULM Foundation, which is a 501(c)3 charitable education organization. Agnes Morris Education Scholarship Applications Available

Burns, custodian for the Agnes Morris Education Scholarship Fund, would like members to know that the AMESF rules and application are available on the state website; click here to be redirected. Download the application, fill it out, and return it to her post marked no later than April 1st. Remember to include 3 letters of recommendation and have your LO President and Treasurer fill out their page.
This scholarship fund originated as the Agnes Morris Education Loan Fund and is sponsored and funded by BPW/LA. This scholarship is a continuing education scholarship for woman, age 25 years or older and can be used for an acceptable learning program from an accredited university, college, or technical college, as well as proven coursework for licensed or career advancement. The scholarship recipient must be a BPW/LA member. For more information contact:
